    • Abstract.

    In this paper, a new ranking function is proposed to comparemfuzzy quantitiesinm−1 steps. The ranking function is in terms of the core and margin andα−cutsof fuzzyquantity, which are considered simultaneously. Also, in our procedure the real numbers will beomitted. So, we have illustrated several typical examples to compare the proposed method withsome other ranking methods.
