  • Abstract

    A different approach is developed to study self similar vector fields in plane sym-metric static space-times by using algebraic and direct integration techniques. Here we discussself similar vector fields of first, second, zeroth and infinite kinds for the above space-timesin both tilted and non tilted cases. We obtained self similar vector fields of first, second andinfinite kinds in tilted case. In case of non tilted we obtained only self similar vector fields inzeroth kind.
