Abstract.

The purpose of the present paper is to continue the study of fixed point theory in ultra metric spaces. Concretely, we apply the strong quasi contractive mapping to the results of Gajic [4] and establish some new fixed point results in spherically complete ultrametric space for single valued and multivalued maps and extend the corresponding results for the pair of Junck type mappings. The presented results unify, extend, and improve several results in the related literature.
